In the Aurora’s space I draw the divination. The shades finger the edges as I pull them from their keeper. Reading the drift of incense rising from the touch. Letting magic’s energy drip on my tongue. Tasting the Consurgens magic bathing my yearning mindbodysoul. The Hanged Man demands that we turn the world upside down.
The Chariot ravens call me into the not yet morning’s fog. Through the gateless gate, onto the pathless path, down into the Priestess’ forest. The shades are seeking their rest in the darkening moon. The dead are resurrected in the shadows cast by the morning’s ray. Thoughts that were never mine arise from the guests of the murky moon sending guiding messages for soul’s alchemy. The Hermit rises from the cave to keep watch over Samhain’s Hierophant. The cards prophecy, “Time losses its illusion.” The souls sigh relief. And we take another step. Hope is transmuted into action.
